Congratulations to Northland’s newest Eagle Scout!

Landon FrankLandon Frank passed his BSA Board of Review this week and was granted the rank of Eagle. Eagle Scout is the highest achievement or rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America. The designation "Eagle Scout" was founded over one hundred years ago. Only four percent of Boy Scouts are granted this rank after a lengthy review process. The requirements necessary to achieve this rank take years to fulfill. Landon began his scouting career with Pack 1276 (John Wesley UMC), received his Arrow of Light award, and joined Troop 87 (Cypress Creek Christian Church).

Landon completed his Eagle Project, “Lenses for Lions,” on behalf of the Cy-Fair Lions Club and collected over 1200 pair of used eyewear for rehabilitation and redistribution to individuals in need. Thank you to the staff, parents and students at Northland Christian School who provided support for this project, and during Landon’s completion of rank. A Court of Honor will be held this spring to honor Landon’s outstanding achievement and to celebrate this new Eagle Scout!

But they that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31
