Cougar alumni Taylor Huff performs lead role in ACU homecoming musical

Taylor HuffTaylor Huff, a 2014 Northland graduate, was cast as Grizabella in the Abilene Christian University homecoming musical, “Cats.” Her rendition of the iconic song “Memory” brought extended applause at every show. Taylor is a senior at Abilene Christian University, and is majoring in musical theater. This is her second lead role in an ACU homecoming musical. Last year she was cast as Dolcinea in “Man of LaMancha.” Taylor credits Northland’s Debate and Fine Arts departments in providing her the background and training to pursue her dream.

Taylor is expected to graduate with a BFA from ACU in May, 2018.  She will spend her last semester (starting this January) in New York City, taking a 19-hour load in a musical theater program jointly offered by ACU and Syracuse University.

The first video below is the trailer produced by Abilene Christian School.
The second video shows Taylor singing "Memory" (don't miss it!).
