"Hands on science" at Elementary campus

young scientists

The Northland elementary science lab is a busy place every day, as all elementary students are provided the weekly opportunity to experience "hands on science". Some recent experiences included 2nd grade working with metric measurement as they compared lengths of various objects. Leap students welcomed the fall season by weighing apples and measuring the circumference of the tasty fall fruit. While 3rd graders got to share in a science lab tradition of observing mealworms and building habitats so they could view the magic of metamorphosis. Mrs. Amy Owens, Elementary science teacher, is always teaching something interesting in the science lab that makes us all appreciate the majesty of our Creator and His hand in our world.
