MS competitive robotics students finish their season as champions!

The MS competitive robotics students finished their First LEGO League season with attendance at the Texas-Southeast Championship competition on Saturday, January 27th. The competition was among the top 60 teams in an over 250 team region. The GIGABots were awarded the 3rd place Champions Award. The Champions Award is the highest award teams can receive. It is awarded to teams that have high scores in all 4 areas of the competition: robot design, robot performance, core values, and project. The GIGABots would like to thank debate coach Courtney Coffman for her help in their project presentation, the HS robotics students for their mentorship, Mr. Davis for his help with their project jingle, Mrs. Owens and robotics club for cheering them on, and State Representative Kevin Roberts for talking time out of his schedule to meet with them.
