The entire 2017 Northland Christian baseball starting lineup earned TAPPS honors this year. Teddy Lewis was named to the TAPPS Division III All-State 2nd team, and Michael Chase made the Honorable Mention All-State team.  First team All-District honors went to Teddy Lewis, Michael Chase, and Nick Petro.

Second team All-District honors went to Tim Harrison, Fonzi Diaz, Preston Pounds, and Reid Anderson. Honorable Mention All-District honors went to Trey Hinkle and Jerry Webster.

The team boasted five Academic All-State designees in Tim Harrison, Preston Pounds, Michael Chase, Fonzi Diaz, and Teddy Lewis.

The Cougar Baseball team went all the way to the State Tournament Final Four before losing 4-3 in a very close contest to The Woodlands Christian Academy in the State semifinal game. Nick Petro and Fonzi Diaz were named to the All-Tournament team for their outstanding play in the tournament.

Northland finished with a record of 21-13 and advanced farther in post-season play than any Cougar baseball team in 15 years.
