November Counseling Center Update
A monthly listing of test prep, college information, scholarships and other opportunities

The 2018-19 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available. It helps determine your eligibility for federal grants, loans, and work-study and is also used by some schools and private scholarships to award aid. Financial aid deadlines vary by school. The earlier your FAFSA is received, the better your chance to receive aid. Check out these Quick Tips for Filing Your FAFSA.

The Texas Application for Student Financial Aid (TASFA) is used by Texas colleges to determine eligibility for state aid for students who are Texas residents but ineligible to apply for federal aid using the FAFSA.

The College Board's CSS Profile is used by some schools to award non-federal aid. It may be required for international students ineligible to use the FAFSA. Check to see if your college participates.
