Varsity Track team accolades

The boys and girls track teams competed at the state meet, which began on May 5th. Several athletes either placed highly, or set personal records in the last meet of the year. 

  • Hunter Pace won the Gold in Pole Vault with a school record breaking jump of 13'6 

  • Miranda Simmons got 3rd in shot put 4th in discus ... during the season she set the school record for both shot put and discus.

  • Johnny Oloh ran his best time of the year in the 110m hurdles at the state meet

  • The boys 4x 400m relay, made up of Ansel Arash-Ajayi, Caleb Anderson, Colby Buckhanan, and Brady Abt achieved their best time of the season at the state meet

  • The Northland Christian boys team placed 9th out of 26 teams in the state meet. 

  • The Northland Christian girls team placed 11th out of 25 teams in the state meet.

  • Great efforts were put fourth by Erika Tosh, Rachel Tosh, Colby Buckhanan, Ansel Ajayi, Christian Lovick, Caleb Anderson, Johnny Oloh, Brady Abt, Alex Ludlow and Zane Owens

  • Zane Owens - Pole Vault
  • Hunter Pace - Pole Vault, 100, 200, 4X1
  • Miranda Simmons - Shot put, Discus 
  • Rachel Tosh - High Jump
  • Erika Tosh - Pole Vault
  • Austin Williams - Shot Put
