Welcome from the PTO President

Welcome to Northland Christian School,

My name is Bobbi Jo Miller. I’m blessed and honored to be the President of Northland Christian School’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) for the 2016-17 school year.

The PTO theme this year is “Whoever is united with the Lord is one with Him in spirit.” (1 Corinthians 6:17)

I chose this verse because it ties in with the school’s theme of “One Family, One Mission, One Campus.” The PTO supports the capital campaign effort and long-term vision of the administration. The PTO was among first to embrace the “One School” philosophy, uniting the elementary and secondary PTOs to work as one united organization in 2011. We have a strong history of supporting Northland Christian students, faculty and staff, and we are dedicated to working together to continuing towards one mission.

I strongly believe that Northland is a family and the PTO is here to support our teachers, staff, students and parents. I know that we can work together, using the gifts and talents God blessed us each with, to strengthen our school & support each other. Let’s make this the best year yet for Northland teachers, staff, students and parents!

At Northland, we truly view education as a partnership where parents are actively involved in the campus life of their children. Every family enrolled becomes a member of our PTO and we want you to be involved in the wide range of services and support we offer to Northland.

Your Northland PTO supports numerous school events in which all of our students benefit. These events include Homecoming Dinner and Dance, Elementary PE Show, Elementary Grandparents' Day, Science Night, Mad Science, Graduation Receptions, Guest Authors, Elementary Spirit Games, Parent/Child Events, New Family Socials, School Wide Tailgate, Grade Level Gatherings, Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad, Teacher/Staff Appreciation Luncheons & Breakfasts, Teacher & Staff Christmas Fund just to name a few. These activities and events continue to make Northland Christian School unique from other schools in the area, as well as support the family-based culture that is an Northland tradition.

Remember, our kids only grow in their faith and education through a team effort so please join the PTO team!  No amount of time or talent is too small to give.  I look forward to serving with you this year!

In His Name

Bobbi Jo Miller, PTO President
