Program Overview

Toddlers learn from participating in daily activities. Appropriate models of behavior are presented in every aspect of our day so the children replicate these positive interactions.

Social/Emotional Development

Encourage appropriate self-help skills

  • Washing hands
  • Feeding self with fork and spoon
  • Picking up toys
  • Picking up naptime mats
  • Take off and put up sweaters/outerwear

Encourage waiting patiently

  • For help from teacher
  • For lunch or snack
  • For their turn with a toy

Encourage positive behavior/develop respect for others and for property

  • Use please and thank you
  • Use kind hands
  • Develop empathy
  • Model playing with friends
  • Clean up after self (toys and snacks)

    - No throwing them

    - No stepping on them

Physical Development

Using playground equipment safely
