Our Values
Mission Statement
The mission of Northland Christian School is to provide academic excellence in a Christian environment enabling children to grow spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially for the glory of God.
Statement of Faith
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, divinely inspired, that God exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, that these three co-exist as the one and only God, that He created the world out of nothing, that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is the Son of God and was born of a virgin, that He died to pay the price of the sins of all people, that He was bodily raised from the dead then ascended to Heaven, and that, salvation is available by God’s grace to all who obey the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Core Values
At Northland Christian School, we are committed to four core values that define our identity and mission: Christ, Community, Leadership, and Giving.
- Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. We seek to honor Him in everything we do, from our academic excellence to our spiritual formation. We teach our students to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to follow His commands and example.
- Community: We believe that we are not meant to live in isolation, but in fellowship with one another. We cultivate a culture of respect, kindness, and service among our students, staff, faculty, parents, and alumni. We celebrate our diversity and unity as members of one body in Christ.
- Leadership: We believe that God has given each of us gifts and talents to use for His glory and the common good. We equip our students with the skills and knowledge they need to become leaders in their chosen fields and spheres of influence through a college preparatory education. We challenge them to think critically, creatively, and biblically about the issues they face in a changing world.
- Giving: We believe that everything we have is a gift from God and a stewardship responsibility. We look to our families, parents, students, and alumni to be generous with their time, talents, and resources so we can work together to develop leaders who share the love of Christ and make a positive difference in our community and beyond.
Vision Statement
It is our desire at Northland Christian School for each student to:
- Come to know Christ and walk in His ways.
- Maximize academic potential.
- Develop and care for their body.
