Spiritual Renewal Day for the Northland Secondary students is an intentional effort towards helping our students grow in their faith and spiritual maturity.
Students and teachers put aside academics and come together as a faith community to worship, learn, participate in challenging discussions, and grow closer in their relationship with God and with each other. This day is a regular school day with the entirety of it devoted to spiritual development. This year, we are grateful to have partnered with Northside Christian Church in the planning and hosting of the event. Northside Christian pastors will deliver keynote messages. Students will be led in worship by the Northside Christian band. The event will be held on the Northside Christian Church campus. All Secondary teachers and staff will be off-campus that day, helping to lead our students through various activities, each carefully planned and designed to help them with their faith walk. This year we will focus our time together on Romans 12. We will look at Romans 12:16 and discuss how we, as Christ followers, are called to treat one another.

This year, our Secondary Students will have a Spiritual Renewal Day that is separate from the Elementary students, rather than one day combined. This allows the activities and messages to be tailored more towards their age and needs. Our Elementary students will be hosted by Champion Forest Baptist Church for their own Spiritual Renewal Day in April. We look forward to age-appropriate activities and messages for that day as well!
